tonight was beautiful! I really wish there was some way to capture the look and feel of a summer evening here in El Paso - wonderful sunset, lightening and thunder, warm concrete beneath your feet, clouds in so many shades of blue and green . . . . . .

Dean and I went to Cracker Barrel - I know, we are old people. At least it is not Luby's. Anyway, the lamp on our table looked pretty cool.

This is Ranger - a rescued dog that lives in our house. He is not timid at all - lazy, yes. He is a good big brother to Razzle and Dazzle.

June 6 Chasing the Wind

Today our lesson in Sunday School and in Worship was from Ecclesiastes 1. The title in worship was "If Solomon Could Tweet" this week's tweet was "I've been chasing the Wind." Today there was a very, very strong wind and some rain. I tried to capture the wind in a photo, because it seemed to go with the theme of the day.

June 5

Today is June 5 and our 28th anniversary. I was just going to post a scan of one of our wedding photos, but decided I would play by the rules and post one for today. We spent most of the day getting rid of a trash bag full of fur from the three dogs. I tried to get a photo of all three of them, but could only get two at a time. Tomorrow we are going to bark in the park at the Diablo's baseball game. Maybe I can get all three tomorrow.

I had a really, really hard time today picking one photo. Lexi, Will, and Ava spent the afternoon/evening with us. There were several I really liked, but I ended up choosing this one. I liked her concentration and the angle.

Wade brought Joy Anna flowers at the pageant. The light from the sunset was very nice this afternoon. I took the flowers outside and put them in the light. Ok, I know that is a set up, but I really didn't want to photograph dinner or me cleaning the kitchen.

El Paso is a very transient place. People come and go much more often than in any other town where we have lived. Mainly, this is due to the military, but also because of the factory management in Juarez. Today, Joy Anna had to say good bye to two of the kids she has grown to love here.

I am going to attempt the 365 project again. This time I am going to do it with Eric and Ashley, so maybe I will be more motivated. I did take photos yesterday. I got them into my computer, and picked out the one I think I will post. I was a little tired and feel asleep before I ever got them posted. Tonight, I will post both days. I just need to start looking . . .
